Yesterday
When we went to visit Ethan in the nicu yesterday Hau finally held him! This was the first time he’s ever held a baby, so that was really sweet that the first baby is his own. Hau got sleepy after 20 minutes, so I held him for the rest of the hour. Ethan was snoozing away with his mouth open.
I also took his temperature and changed his diaper. He got fed some of my milk through the feeding tube. Then it was kangaroo time for an hour before going back in his cubicle. After he went back into his cubicle he was holding onto my finger. Every so often he would open his eyes, look around, tighten his grip and go back to sleep. I didn’t want to leave!
